The Caught Jesters bring comedy theatre from around the world to New Zealand; the Jesters aims are to revive comedy classics, bring new scripts to the stage and to provide professional work for kiwi actors and crew members.
Keeping to small to mid scale productions enables the Jesters to also tour to local theatres and regions where professional theatre rarely ventures.
In 2004 the Caught Jesters premiered with the kiwi comedy It's Not You… It's Me!
2006 saw the Jesters produce another world premiere, Thrill of the Chaste and 2007, the New Zealand professional premiere of the worldwide comedy hit The Opposite Sex. Next came succesful seasons of No Sex Please, We're British!, the Pantomime Cinderella and The Graduate.In 2010, the Caught Jesters are revising their production of Roger Hall's Cinderella at the mighty Civic Theatre, Auckland, with co-producers, Amici Productions.
